If n is the logarithm of a to the base p, then the applicable:

1. Bila bilangan pokok suatu logaritma tidak diberikan, maka maksudnya logaritma tersebut berbilangan pokok = 10.

   Bedakan dengan log xⁿ = n log x

Contoh soal :
Jika ³log 4 = p dan ²log 5 = q maka nilai untuk ³log 5 ?

2log 5 = 22log 52 = 2 . 4log 5 = 4log 5 =

³log 4 . ⁴log 5 = ³log 5
maka ³log 5 = 1/2 (pq)
